Writer In Motion is an inclusive, collaborative short story blog series that highlights the different ways writers implement changes during the revision process. Participating authors share their progress on a published weekly schedule—starting from an initial draft inspired by a picture prompt to several rounds of revisions based on self-edits, peer feedback, and final polish by a professional editor.

I’ve participated in several seasons of Writer In Motion, both as a team member and as an author. Not only has it been a ton of fun, but the WIM community was where I met my writing family, my ride-or-die CP, and my awesome beta readers! I’m looking forward to joining in on another round soon. It’s such a great opportunity to gain insight, share writing tips, read some amazing work, and be part of a supportive writing community.
